XUN LIAO – WATER DRAGON SCHEME
The architecture forms an arabesque of sculptural, hanging gardens, dramatically poised over the waters of the sweeping marinas. The opposing shoreline is developed as a series of Chinese pleasure gardens, pavilions and an amphitheatre accessible by small boats.
The Yacht Club is a dramatic, sculptural ensemble, derived from the shapes of billowing sails, fish, flying birds, even dragons! It is a memorable, iconic structure which symbolizes the Oceania Point southern resort as a unique, world-class destination. The “tail” of the Dragon turns to the sea, and is a spectacular entertainment venue.
A taller, circular tower building is a hotel with hanging gardens, a revolving roof top restaurant and internal bamboo garden night club venue. The outer marina includes a series of “floating island apartments”, built over the sea with 360 degree views.
A series of secluded villas located in the mountain slopes, offer complete privacy and luxury.
